Chaplain Tony Miano
Chaplain Tony Miano has been a deputy sheriff for the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department since 1987. He served full-time until 2000, when he left full-time duty to pursue the ministry and to become a law enforcement chaplain. Since then he has continued to work as a peace officer, serving as a reserve deputy sheriff. During his time with the LASD, he has served in many different assignments. Chaplain Tony's law enforcement experience includes working as a training officer and gang investigator in Custody Division. He has been assigned to Santa Clarita Valley Station since 1991 where he has worked patrol, traffic, DUI, field-training officer, and as an investigator with the gang unit. Tony has been the chaplain for the deputies assigned to SCV Station and the personnel of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department since 2000.

Cops Care Cancer Foundation
The Cops Care Cancer Foundation’s mission is to provide financial assistance to children and their families who have been stricken with cancer. We provide financial donations and support to the Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital. Our financial contributions help fund social service programs for children, long term housing costs, prevention programs, research projects and a survivor’s scholarship program. In addition to financial donations, the directors donate their time to visit with the children and provide motivational presentations.

Peace Officer Ministries, Inc. (POM) is a Christian law enforcement chaplaincy ministry that provides direct help during these times of trouble. POM also serves as a chaplaincy resource for officers, chaplains, police agencies, churches, and communities. We provide spiritual care, consulting, training, and written materials (including a special Bible edition for officers). POM is a charter member of the Association of Lutheran Mission Agencies, and is a referral organization for Focus on the Family.
